Autoresponders
are also known as "drip" campaigns.
Why? Because once a customer enters their info
into a ListBuilder/sign up box, the "dripping"
starts, sending them a string of different emails
over a set amount of time.
A typical Benchmark
Email drip campaign might start with an email
welcoming a customer to a Website. The second
drip email, sent one week later, might showcase
specific products that customer is interested
in. The third email, sent yet another week later,
might offer a 50% off coupon on those products.
As a feature, autoresponders are both highly customizable
and easy to manage. Once you set them up, the
emails are sent automatically and the results
are trackable in real time.
Benchmark’s autoresponder feature is only
$7.95 a month with a paid plan. To sign up for
our autoresponder feature, upgrade to a paid account.
Once you have a paid Benchmark Email account,
just click on the MY HOME tab
and the PLAN ADD-ONS sub tab
and follow the instructions.
If you’re ready to set up your autoresponder,
just follow these steps:
1)
Create a ListBuilder/sign up box in our
system. |
|
2)
Create the email layouts you’ll use
with the autoresponder.
Since you can set up as many as 7 autoresponders
per campaign, create or upload the layouts
you’ll use for each message. For instance,
if one layout will offer a coupon for $25
off and the next one, sent a week later,
will extend a coupon for $50 off, create
these layouts in our HTML editor or upload
them to our system. |
|
3)
Click on the CAMPAIGNS
tab and the CREATE AUTORESPONDERS
sub tab. You’ll see a page that
shows an example of how an autoresponder
works. Click on SAVE &
NEXT to move forward.

4)
On this next page, you’ll name your
autoresponder campaign and choose the ListBuilder/Sign
up box you’ll associate with it. This
means that once a customer signs up using
the ListBuilder you specify, they’ll
start receiving emails from your autoresponder
campaign. |
|
| 5)
Your next page is the autoresponder
set-up page. On this page, you’ll
not only list your email address where
the autoresponders will originate
from, but you’ll also set up
your start date. You’ll also
specify which emails will be sent
on which days. Remember: don’t
space them too close together or your
customers may mark your email as spam.

and the AUTORESPONDERS
sub tab to view your progress. |
