I remember getting Nintendo NES for Channukah many, many years ago. I played Super Mario and Duck Hunt endlessly after that. To be honest, I haven’t really stopped playing video games since. That includes almost failing out of my first semester of college thanks to the original Halo. Needless to say, I was quite excited when I found out we’d be talking to a guy who made it possible to create and play your own video game levels.
That’s right, Pixel Press is an app that lets you draw, share and play custom video game levels. Robin Rath used to draw his own video game levels as a kid and would just imagine playing them. Thanks to advances in technology and a fully funded campaign on KickStarter, those dreams are now a reality.
Listen to our show producer, Francis, and I as we geek out over video games. We wax nostalgic about the good ol’ games and marvel about what the future has in store. Plus, Robin gives some honest feedback on what it takes to run a KickStarter campaign. Don’t miss out!
