Support Update: Copying Lists with Multiple Fields

The Problem
Last week we talked about copying contact lists. However, as some of you may have found, if your email list is categorized under more than one field, it may not appear in your Copy List drop down box. Rest assured that there is a solution to this problem. The bad news is that it requires more steps. The good news is that it allows more customization.
The Fix
First, export the list you want to copy:
  1. Log into your account
  2. Mouse-over the arrow next to the Email icon
  3. Select Contacts from the drop-down menu

  4. Click the list name of the one you want to copy over
  5. Under Contact List Activities, select Download Excel

  6. Save the file to your computer

    Now,upload it into the desired list:
  7. Hover your cursor over the Contacts button at the top right
  8. Select Add Contacts from the drop-down menu

  9. Select the dial next to Import Contacts from a File
  10. Click Save & Add Contacts
  11. Check the box to the left of your desired list(s)

  12. Click Save & Next
  13. Click the Browse button and Open the file you just saved to your computer
  14. Click the Upload button
  15. Map the fields accordingly
  16. Click Save & Next
  17. Complete the List Information page
  18. Click Save & Next

Is it possible to use one of the import fields as a Blob field? In otherwise can I merge a lot of data into one field so that I can overcome the limited fields avialable for import? Would this allow me to basically insert a form into the e-mail that lists multiple rows of data? Thank you.
