Goldtrail Holidays Failure Update.


I just wanted to write with an update in relation to the failure of Goldtrail.

To begin with I would like to thank you for your patience. It is with huge regret that your travel arrangements have been effected by the demise of Goldtrail and I can assure you that we will work tirelessly to find you alternative flights.

We have a team working round the clock in an attempt to rebook all of our clients who are affected. We are working through bookings in departure date order, so if you are traveling in the next few days you will be our top priority.

If we have not already contacted you we will be in touch shortly. Hopefully everyone will be contacted by Friday 23rd July. Please do not call as the phones are very busy, all the latest updates will be available on our website We will attempt to find you an alternative flight but you will need to pay for these flights. We will send you a claims form with clear instructions on how to complete the form. We will submit your claim to the CAA and you will be reimbursed for the cost of the original flights. Please take your time and make sure you post all of the documentation back to us at the given address.

Customers currently abroad on holiday

The CAA will be making arrangements to ensure customers of Goldtrail can fly home at the end of their holiday. All inbound flying from Turkey and Greece will operate as scheduled over the weekend, and up to and including Monday 19 July 2010. Passengers who are due to return to the UK are advised to go to the airport as originally scheduled and information will be provided by local representatives at the airports involved.
