Benchmark Email does not recommend that you resend the same email to contacts who didn't open it the first time. Resending an email may result in a spam complaint against you as the contact may see multiple copies of the same email in their account.
If, however, you send a campaign and find that many of the contacts legitimately missed the email in their inbox, you can resend that mail.
To save a list of email addresses of contacts that did not receive your email the first time, do the following:
- Go to the Reports section. Click on a specific Email campaign.
- Click on "Unopens" button at the bottom of the page.
- Click the "Save as List" button.
This will import unopen contacts into a new list. This process may take a few minutes depending upon the size of the list. You can then copy your email and assign it to this new list.
Note: A limitation of the the Resend feature is that it does not allow edits to be made to the content of your Email campaign.
