Are QR / Bar Code Related Merge Tags available in Benchmark Email?

You can add QR Codes or Barcodes in your email including personalization tags.

To add a Barcode in your email you would have to use the following construct:

[QRCode: url="URL" size="size"]
Print the QR Code based on the URL given. The size parameter determines the size of the image.

URL = The URL the QR Code should be referring to. e.g.
[QRCode: url="http://www.google.com" size="2"]

You can also have personalization in the URL e.g.
[QRCode:url="http://www.google.com?s=[contact_attribute:firstname]" size="3"]

size (optional) = The size of the image. The valid range is from 1 to 20. The default used is 10.


To add a Barcode in your email you would have to use the following construct:

[BarCode: url="URL" height="60" width="1"]

URL = The data that you want to encode in the Barcode. e.g.
[BarCode: url="http://www.google.com" height="60" width="1"]

To personalize the data you could also use
[BarCode: url="[contact_attribute:Extra 3]" height="60" width="1"]

Height (optional) = This is the height of the barcode image. The valid range for the height is 20 to 60. The default used is 30

Width (optional) = This is the width of the barcode image. The valid range for the width is 1 to 2. The default used is 1
