How do I add a background image to my email?

Making your campaign as personal as possible can help bring brand familiarity and build trust with your subscribers. One way to do this is to insert your own background image to the title, articles, or column sections of your email.

To insert a background image to an area:
  1. Open the email layout in the Email Editor.
  2. On the left panel, click Global Colors.
  3. Click on the background image icon next to the area in which you want to add background image.
  4. Clicking on the icon will open a pop-up. Click Update.
Note: Background images may not display for some email clients. You may want to include a background color so that those recipients who cannot view the background images will see a background color instead.

To inesrt background image to an individual block:
  1. Open the email layout in the Email Editor.
  2. Click on the edit icon on the individual block you wish to add a background image to.
  3. On the left panel, click on or in the toolbar of the block, click on the HTML button.
  4. You need to insert code like highlighted above for the background image, please change the image URL in the code with your image URL.
  5. Click on the Save & Close
  6. Click Save button of the block to save the changes.
