Pasting as plain text is a good idea when you want to use text from other sources in your campaign created from Benchmark Email. This will strip away any coding associated with it and prevent issues with your template layout.

To paste as plain text:

1. Click on the Edit icon for the section you wish to paste the text.
2. Place the cursor where you want the text.
3. Click on the Paste as Plain Text icon.
4. Right click your mouse and select Paste (Mac: Ctl+click > Paste).
5. Click on the Save button.
