April 7th is No House Work Day, or as we call it in my apartment…every day (unless we’re expecting company). In wealthier areas, it’s also referred to as the Day Your House Keeper Gets to Spend with Their Own Family. Sure, it sounds like a made up holiday and an excuse to be lazy. It probably started that way. For email marketers, there’s still a lot of potential.

Remember Don’t Go to Work Unless It’s Fun Day? I do. I’ll never forget it. Just a few days later is a similar opportunity for a memorable email campaign. Start with no house work. What does that mean? Do you have more time to spend outside, or with your family? You can even go see that movie you’ve been wanting to see, instead of doing the dishes and vacuuming.

So this April 7th, send out an email campaign for No House Work Day. Customize a Benchmark email template and tell your subscribers what they could or should be doing besides house work that day. You better believe I won’t be doing any house work on April 7th.
