Enter your Mother’s Day email campaign by adding firstname.lastname@example.org to your email list. We will accept entries until May 9th, 2016 at 10:00AM PST. That Monday, we’ll pick a few of our favorites and post them to the blog. There our readers, your customers and everybody else will have an opportunity to vote on which they feel is the best. The voting will close on Monday, May 16 at 10:00AM PST and a winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
So what makes a Mother’s Day email campaign great? Most important is the sentiment. You can offer a great deal any day (including Mother’s Day), but you only get so many opportunities to bring the feels. Stay true to your brand, but make sure you honor the mothers out there on your subscriber list and beyond. Of course, we (and everyone else) can always be wowed with some excellent design or compelling copy … or perhaps you’ll surprise us with something else!
