We recently told you about Yahoo’s recent DMARC changes that could effect your email’s deliverability. We advised sending best practices, using an email address hosted by your web domain and suggested that other email clients may follow suit. AOL is the first to align itself with Yahoo’s new anti-spam initiatives. AOL is now likely to bounce your email campaign if the From Address is from aol.com (YourName@AOL.com).

Once again, this should not be a major cause for concern. You want your email campaign’s From name and From Address to be something familiar to your subscribers. There is more trust in an email address that is tied to your website (YourName@YourCompany.com). Make sure you’re getting to the inbox.
