If they don\u2019t convert after that one, you can follow up with a small discount to encourage the repeat business.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Abandoned Cart Reminder<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>On average, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barilliance.com\/cart-abandonment-rate-statistics\/\" class=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> cart abandonment rate in 2017<\/a> was 78.65%.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a lot of potential sales left sitting in your cart.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re not sending an abandoned cart reminder automation, you\u2019re leaving sales on the table.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t do that!<\/p>\n<p>Those are high-value leads because they had enough interest in your products to get them that far.<\/p>\n<p>By integrating your eCommerce store with your email marketing account, you can trigger an automation to send when someone abandons their shopping cart.<\/p>\n<p>Give your customers enough time that it doesn\u2019t feel pushy, but when a cart is abandoned, follow-up with a reminder 12-24 hours later.<\/p>\n<p>If they still haven\u2019t purchased the 48-hour mark, follow-up with one last email offering a small discount or free shipping.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s usually enough to seal the deal.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Request a Review<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Social proof in the form of customer reviews goes a long way toward helping others feel confident enough to buy your goods or services.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inc.com\/craig-bloem\/84-percent-of-people-trust-online-reviews-as-much-.html\" class=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">84% of consumers<\/a> trust an online review as much as one of their friends.<\/p>\n<p>So, it\u2019s important that you work to get as many positive online reviews as possible.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve integrated your eCommerce store with your email marketing and can identify loyal customers, you can send them a review request.<\/p>\n<p>After all, if they keep coming back for more, they\u2019re probably pretty happy with what you\u2019re selling them.
