A few weeks back, we launched our new email workflow to new users, and today, we’ve launched to all of our existing users.
This new email workflow saves you time by avoiding the step by step process.
What this means for you is, now when you create an email, you’ll have an email checklist, and in the checklist, you can you choose where you want to start. Whereas before you had to select a list, design your email, complete your sending details, etc.
Now, you decide what you want to get done first, whether it be to design the email or add who you will send it to, the option is yours.

We’ve eliminated more friction for those email users who want to unlock their CRM. Previously you had to create a new password to unlock the feature. We’ve removed this, and now it makes it even easier for qualified Benchmark Email clients to unlock their free Benchmark CRM account.
If you haven’t already unlocked the CRM, here are the steps on how to do it.
Now, when you are editing any signup form and decide to leave the page, a warning message will appear.
The popup displays the following message: This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave – data you have entered may not be saved.
Please note the message could be different, depending on the browser you are using. By adding this popup message, we can help you avoid losing any of your unsaved changes.
All Survey and Signup Form links have been switched from HTTP to HTTPS. We understand the importance of being SSL certified both for Benchmark and our users.
Having an HTTPS vs. HTTP can help with increased conversions and increased customer trust.
Have a user that went from subscriber to an actual client? Maintaining organized lists and segments is easy with Automation Pro. When automating a journey or flow, you can now automatically update a user’s information based on their activity with a new Update Details Node.
At Benchmark, we are big believers in the 2 Second Lean, and this improvement saves you about 2 seconds or more depending on your internet connection.
We have added the user management link to our user drop-down menu for faster access to switch between accounts. Whether you are going to a Sub Account or an Agency account, the route is shorter now.
Since the last update, we’ve made more enhancements to the Image Gallery.
As of today, our users can upload multiple images by dragging them directly into the window or by browsing for files, and they can rename their files. The search functionality has been improved as well.
Our Video Gallery has been going through some maintenance, and now you can see a new video gallery overlay in the Drag and Drop Editor. Functionalities are still the same, except now the style is the same as our Image gallery.
Now, while you are working in your Automation you’ll notice a status badge located on the top right. These badges identify the status of your automation.

This improvement is aimed to help you identify the status of your automation quick and easy while working in the automation.
In trying to make things easier to see, we update the cursor. It now indicates to a user that a node is clickable by updating their cursor from an arrow to a pointing hand whenever they hover over a node.

Select, Partner Program.
Click on the Banner and Ads option.
Choose a theme, and then copy the code for the ad you want to use.
Take the code and add or replace on your site.

If you are reusing an email you can now preview an email before selecting it while creating an automation. We previously only provided the email name, and this was not so helpful for our clients, with the new update clients can click on the preview option to see the template of the email they are choosing.

You can now edit the Multiple Conditions node in an active Automation. So if you changed your mind on what conditions you wanted, you can now edit them without having to deactivate and start a new Automation.
Our team has an improved experience for our Image gallery in the Drag & Drop Editor. The Image Gallery now supports multiple device sizes, and you can upload multiple images at a time by dragging and dropping files directly into your window.
Now, when you send an email campaign Benchmark will generate a list for you “Invalid Emails List.” The Invalid Email list is composed by all of the email addresses which were marked as Invalid by ISP’s when you sent your campaign out.
Benchmark will filter out any emails that are present in the Invalid Email List, in all future email campaigns, unless you remove them.
We know the importance of reports and also understand sometimes those reports need to be shared with others. Our newly improved reports will help you better see your statistics. See who opened, clicked, bounced, unsubscribed and much more from your email reports.

We have launched a new ChatBot! Currently, it is only available to free English users. But will be available to all clients soon. If you haven’t already given it a try we encourage you to do so.

After a very thoughtful evaluation our team has replaced our image editor to an easier to use one by Photo Editor SDK. You’ll still have access to previous editing options like filters, adding text, cropping and resizing along with other fun options. The new image editor is available in the Image Gallery.

Which is why we are excited to finally show you what our teams have been working hard on, our new interface navigation. The new navigation is set to be available to all responsive site users today Dec 6th, 2018!
The navigation changes are based solely on your feedback. We hope with these new changes you can save time, get to where you need faster and ultimately get work done easier.
The left menu options can now be minimized or expanded based on your preference. Each featured option will have different destinations to choose from. For example, if you click on Emails you will see Email, AB Test, Archive and RSS Emails. Everything in one section, the navigation will remain with you throughout your page changes. Also, if you decide to minimize your menu options you’ll still see the icons to each feature such as Emails, Contacts, Surveys, and Reports.
With that being said, we hope these new changes improve your user experience. We will continue to look for more ways to enhance our product and deliver the best product you’ve come to love.
You can now save 2 seconds and access the Segment feature directly from a list page. Click on the more options icon and then click on Create New Segment. After clicking on Create New Segment, the segment page will open with your list pre-selected and a segment name based on your list name.
Reports
Previously when you hovered over an email report in the dashboard it was not clear that the report was clickable. A Hover state was added to individual email reports to better distinguish the click areas.
Quick Actions Menu
Originally the only option for the Quick Action menu was to Add Contacts to a List, but that has changed. Now, when you click on the plus icon in the dashboard you will see 2 additional quick actions Create Email or Create New List.
Our team has improved the loading speed on some of our pages. One page that has improved drastically is our Inbox Checker page. The improved loading speed makes viewing all of your test much quicker.
In the world of lean all things would be at your fingertips, and while we can not create the emails for you, we can certainly make it easier to access your draft or incomplete emails. This week our product team has brought you access to incomplete and draft emails in the home dashboard.
You can see up to 15 incomplete or draft emails sorted by the modified date. If there are no incomplete emails or drafts in your account, the dropdown will not appear.

Our A-Pro team fixed a few bugs and cleaned up the way the canvas displays your automations. You can also hover your mouse over step labels to view all selected lists and full URLs.
Master accounts can now share emails with sub-accounts faster. Just go to ‘Emails’ from the left side navigation panel an then simply click on the email options menu (The three dots located at the right of every listed email.) where the option ‘Share to sub-account’ will appear. The only condition is that it won’t show for “incomplete” emails.. so make sure you save the email as a draft and the option will show in the menu.
Autosave notifications in the Drag & Drop and Code Editors
When you make changes in your email our editors will notify you. Whether you are using the Drag & Drop or Code Editors you will see when your email template was last autosaved.
If you ever deleted a list of contacts then you know the Total Unique number of contacts did not recalculate immediately. Our team has helped leanify this process by reducing the delay time from 4 hours down to a few seconds! Simply select the option to calculate right away when you delete a list.
You can only recalculate contacts when you delete a list from your Trash folder.
You can now review and edit your subject line before sending your email on the schedule step of the email process. By the time you decide to send out your email, you could’ve forgotten what your subject line was, or the purpose it originally had. This new enhancement will allow you to change your subject line right before you get ready to schedule out your email.
In Automation Pro, you can now target subscribers based on specific email links they click. We’ve also added new options to help you define which webpage visitors you’d like to target.
Edit an email in an active automation in Automation Pro
Yes, you read that right! You will now be able to make edits to emails in an active automation within Automation Pro.
Edit and swap emails within your active automated journey. You can make improvements without skipping a beat and view reports of current and previous versions. Learn More.
Our teams have redesigned the Email Report Summary to make it easier to see quickly at a glance how your email performed. If you didn’t already know you can also click on Activity Details to see a more detailed report of your Opens, Unopens, Bounces, Unsubscribes, Clicks, Forwards and Abuse Complaints.
