Trade shows can be a ton of fun. Even if you’re not a social networking manager, sent there to ham it up at all the booths and take a bunch of goofy pictures (yes … sometimes that is my job). However, they’re also fun because we bring a great Benchmark team to staff our booth and we’ve got our pitch down pat. We’ve got contagious smiles and plenty of Ask Andy swag to pass out.

I wish I could say it was always that way. We’ve hit our bumps in the road, but we’ve arrived at each new trade show bigger and better than the last time. In that spirit, the September series is called Tricks of the Trade Show. We’re here with another great roster of guest bloggers to impart all the trade show wisdom we possibly can.

Learn these Tricks of the Trade Show and you’ll be armed with more than just a wand for your next trade show. Aside from all the wisdom you’ll gain, you can also head to your next trade show with your brand new Nexus 7 tablet in tow. That’s right! Retweet this, or any other post in our Tricks of the Trade Show series to be entered to win. Please note: you must follow @BenchmarkEmail on Twitterto be eligible to win.

Author Bio:

by Andy Shore

Andy Shore found his way to Benchmark when he replied to a job listing promising a job of half blogging, half social media. His parents still don’t believe that people get paid to do that. Since then, he’s spun his addiction to pop culture and passion for music into business and marketing posts that are the spoonful of sugar that helps the lessons go down. As the result of his boss not knowing whether or not to take him seriously, he also created the web series Ask Andy, which stars a cartoon version of himself. Despite being a cartoon, he somehow manages to be taken seriously by many of his readers ... and few of his coworkers.
