St. Louis, MO – February 18, 2020 – Leading sales and marketing SaaS provider Benchmark Email today announced it has acquired MarketVolt, a St. Louis-based email marketing platform, for an undisclosed amount.
Benchmark Email, which recently merged with well-known St. Louis-based CRM software provider Hatchbuck, boasts over 130 employees serving 150,000 users in 15 countries worldwide. Headquartered in St. Louis, Benchmark will continue to support MarketVolt customers and technology.

Moving forward MarketVolt employees will join Benchmark’s growing headquarters located in Kirkwood, Missouri as it expands its footprint as a tech leader in St. Louis. “MarketVolt was founded and headquartered in St. Louis. We’re thrilled to join forces with Benchmark, a strong, industry-leading St. Louis company that is creating more tech jobs in our region and strengthening St. Louis’ position as an emerging technology hub,” former MarketVolt CEO Tom Ruwitch said.
With the acquisition, MarketVolt customers will be able to remain on the MarketVolt platform, however, they also gain access to industry-leading email marketing and CRM tools. Benchmark’s powerful, yet simple drag-and-drop email builder enables businesses and marketers to build professional emails in minutes. For those customers needing an integrated CRM and email marketing platform, they’ll have the option to transition to Hatchbuck’s robust all-in-one platform.
MarketVolt’s long-standing delivery of strategic marketing and email marketing consulting services will continue without interruption through a separate agency run by Ruwitch.
